In this video I explain how to create the best expedient full body webbing harness I have ever seen or used. I didn’t invent this; its the one we used to use (and possibly still is in use) in the Australian military in the late 80’s / early 90’s for helicopter rappel. Whoever came up with this did a great job; I remember every detail to this day. You will need about 6m of nylon webbing to make it (1 x 3.5m and 1 x 2.5m roughly). Remember this is an expedient rig & does not replace a proprietary sewn harness… use at your own risk.
